Hooked on... Circles!

Kelly @ JAX Decor & Design

This is our first time participating in Hooked on Fridays hosted by Julia at Hooked on Houses. Hi!

I’ve become completely hooked on circles. It started with a wallpaper that I saw in Style At Home magazine. I can’t for the life of me remember which issue, but the paper was similar to this wallpaper — Darcy in Pearl from Graham & Brown:

I used Darcy in Amythest on one wall in our guest bedroom (sorry it’s a bit blurry—I think the pattern made the camera dizzy!!):

The lamp base is chrome circles:

The chandelier in our living room has a circle design:

chairs from West Elm:

Pictures of cabinet, bed, and mirror from Design by Cathleen:

Sarah Richardson designed this beautiful kitchen with crotch mahogany cabinetry. Love the circle detail on the custom vent hood (there’s a recipe book holder that matches, but no picture of it, sorry):

Flying Circles shelving designed by Massimo Castagna for Italian furniture manufacturer Ceccotti Collezioni:

Silver circles necklace designed by Kate Bajic:

And how cool is this… designer chocolate from Lagrange 34 in Italy!!

yummmm!!!! It looks too good to eat… almost ;-)

Now circle on back to Hooked on Houses to check out what other bloggers are hooked on this week :-)

Thanks for visiting!!

Love it all! What great choices! Each picture I thought I liked THAT one the best! The wallpaper and necklace are my two favorites... i think... maybe the chocolate and chairs too! I just bought some antique chairs with circle-ish designs on the backs as well and just LOVE them! (check out my blog for pics!)

That's YOUR living room? It's stunning. I love the mirrored cabinets, the wall color, the wainscoting, and all the furniture, really. And that Italian chocolate looks scrumptious. Love it - Now I'm hooked on circles too.

I am loving that silvery circle wallpaper up top. Why oh why do I fear wallpaper? I Just need to go for it like you did in the bedroom - that looks fierce!

The amythest room is gorgeous. And I love the lamp too.

The lavender bedroom is at once exciting and mello because of the constant movement of the circles. Thanks for visiting my blog---I would welcome any additional advice we can give to clients for remos in this tough market.

You definitely need to see the fabric Circlet by Barbara Barry - Kravet. My favourite colour is Glacier.

I am sure you will love it. You need some pillows or some chairs done in that fabric for your living room.

all the times i have seen your living room, its the first time i noticed the light....that is gorgeous, does it hang down much. I have visualized something like this in my front entrance but it must clear the doorway. Chocolate circles, now that is yummy

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!! I really appreciate it :-) And great to see some new faces here -- welcome!!

For those of you who were wondering about the chandelier... it's called Sausalito and I bought it from Bellacor in the US:

http://www.bellacor.com/productdetail/189578.htm

Universal Lighting in Toronto used to carry it -- not sure if they still do. You could also check out the manufacturer's web site to find a dealer in your area:

Thanks everyone!!
