No time to write a new pet post, so here's an older pet post for Gayle & ELK's Pet Parade...
My happy is… going to the dog park after dinner with hubby and our three dogs Kylie, Squirt, and Jackson. It’s my favourite time of the day — time to unwind, get some fresh air and exercise, and watch all the dogs at the park running and playing and having a great time :-)
Jackson & Squirt on the way to the park (Kylie was in the other car with hubby)…
Ahhhh, freedom!!!!!
Squirt with a stick…
Jackson… (it’s really hard to get a good action shot!!)
Kylie…
And the whole gang…
My favourite time of day… sunset…
You know what I love about dogs?? They believe they can do anything. They’ll keep chasing that bird or squirrel, sure that they can catch it. Wouldn’t that be a a great way to be — to always believe that if you keep trying, you’ll accomplish your goal, no matter how out of reach that goal might be.
So that’s my happy :-) What’s yours??

I have to say, that my dog is my happy too :) Has magical healing powers to solve all my problems!
One of my favorite say is "What you would do if you knew you could not fail?"
Beautiful dogs :) Hopefully I'll get my own one day. They're so fascinating! I love the first picture. He looks deep in thoughts. - Marie
Your dogs are gorgeous. Squirt looks just like my Dublin! I do love that about dogs too...they are the eternal optimists! And I love your happy -what a great way to end the day! My happy is enjoying a walk around the neighborhood with my daughter and my dog, and stopping and chatting with my awesome neighbors all along the way. Love that.
My happy were your photos. My dog is defiantly my happy too. Their love is with such enthusiasm & endless. ♥
Beautiful healthy and happy active dogs!...Christine
What a great looking bunch you've got there! I'm wondering how early you guys eat to be able to walk after dinner?! I really need to start eating dinner earlier because I like the idea of walking it off afterward!
Kelly, what absolute beautiful 'fur babies' you have! Do you take them to Bruce Pit? On occasion we take ours and my dtrs. dog there for a good run.
Changing the subject....wasn't sure how I shud 'leave a comment as'. (Guest?) Is there a reason for the new format?
Reading your comments about my "dog happy" makes me happy too!! :-)
mrsben, I was in the middle of installing a new comment function when you posted your comment. But it's causing more trouble than it's worth, so I've switched back to the original commenting format. Sorry if it confused you!!

Oh Kelly, How relaxing this was to see you and your doggies go and have fun at the park. They are each so precious. I have a lil sheltie doggie only 10 lbs., they'd eat her for a snack. lol Life is so fast paced, it's nice to see you enjoy what God has given you., your dear husband and your doggies., ;) ~CC Catherine
Kelly no need to apologize as it doesn't take much too confuse me....I'm a blonde and old. :) I just wanted to ensure I was commenting properly. Have a great evening!!!
I like that question. . . 'what's your happy?' I might have to borrow that one for my blog. . . love the photos!
Alone time with my kids, when they tell me something they wouldn't tell anyone else.
Kelly, this post is wonderful! Your pooches are beautiful and I love what you say about dogs believing they can do anything! We humans could learn so much from them!
What a gorgous pack you have! Your pups are all adorable and look like so much fun! I can so see why they are your happy! (love that phrase btw!)
Yes, my dog is definitely my happy too! She is puppy perfection and makes you realize that love changes everything! She supplies a daily dose of joy in my life.
Thank you for adding this to the Pet Parade! Your dogs look so cool and calm in the car!
Kelly, your dogs look like they are full of life. And they are skinny, unlike our doggie! I love that first photo. He looks like he's driving.
what a happy parade of beauties here...they are all three so different looking and I can see they get along so famously!
Lucky you! Aren't dogs fun?
