Thanks to Julia at Hooked on Houses for hosting Hooked on Fridays :-)
It’s Easter weekend—the perfect time to be hooked on yummy chocolate!!
When we went to Belgium a couple of years ago, there were two foods I had to try—Belgian fries and Belgian chocolate. The fries were good. The chocolate… BEYOND good!!!! We went to The Chocolate Corner and The Chocolate Line and Galler and lots of other chocolate stores that I can’t remember the names of.
I came home with boxes and boxes and more boxes of chocolate. Some for us, some to give friends and family. Then the some for friends and family became more for us!! Eventually, the boxes of chocolate all disappeared. But the memories of those silky smooth sublime sweets still linger…
I ate dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate…
…and my favourites, pralines… YUM!!!
Solid chocolates, striped chocolates, and chocolates filled with more chocolate…
Chocolates shaped like shells and swans and horses and cats…
Galler cat tongues designed by Belgian comic book artist Philippe Geluck
But I didn’t eat any chocolates shaped like boobs…
Or this…
Galler is a Belgian chocolatier. Galler has stores all over the world, and was appointed Belgian Royal Warrant Holder in 1994.
Lagrange 34 is a chocolate maker in Torino, Italy. In their words…
They make chocolate into these cool shapes…
This one is actually a raised map of Torino!!
Victoria likes chocolate too. Her favourite is the sugar-free peanut butter cup from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Vancouver…
That’s not Victoria—just some random naked lady I found on Flickr ;-) But that IS a humongous Rocky Mountain peanut butter cup!!
And what would a home decor blog be without a chocolate headboard in an edible chocolate hotel room designed for Godiva by Jonathan Adler…
Wishing you all a very chocolatey Easter!!
Now head on back to Hooked on Houses to see what everyone else is hooked on this week…

Chocolate headboard? I could go for that. Thanks for all the fun pictures!
What a funny and delicious post, Kelly.
Chocolate is one of my addictions.
I have never felt inferior to chocolate, but those chocolate boobies look way better than mine!

That chocolate headboard sounds dangerous, you can't go heating up the room- that's for sure!
Oh, I am totally with you!! There is nothing like a good piece of high end chocolate!! And I big puffy heart Rocky Mtn Choco Factory - their caramel apples with fun candies and cookies and nuts all over them....oh, to die for! LOVE IT!
Happy Easter!

This post is dangerous for a pregnant woman like me who happens to be addicted to chocolate even before preggers!!!
Happy Easter!!!
A chocolate headboard - Now I've seen everything! Wowsas!
Your photos are fabulous, and now, I am off to peruse the kitchen for anything chocolate - you have my tastebuds craving it!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Okay Kelly I am going to blame YOU if I shud put on five extra pounds this weekend.
My favourite of all chocolate morsels has to be the Laura Secord Easter Egg. (Psssst, I even been known to freeze them.)
Now it is about that Chocolate headboard. :)
Thanks for an interesting and delectable posting.
What a beautiful blog you have, the chocolate in the beautiful shapes are almost to pretty to eat. I especially loved the element of surprise when you threw in the boobs chocolate etc.. I got a good laugh out of that!
Thanks for stopping by my blog too.
Okay --- I guess chocolate can be made in the shape of about anything, quite creative!
I love the beautiful chocolates I don't really care for the crude humor. For me the crude humor spoiled this entry. I am a big fan of chocolate I would love my tender fingers in the Galler box.
Ooh The Chocolate Line in Brugge is my favorite, did you guy the cute bag they sell there or the chocolate paint?
Yumm and more Yumm!! The packaging for Galler chocolates looks just like Hermes. For Easter dinner I am making my famous Belgium chocolate dipped strawberries.
Have a happy Easter and don't get sick on all the chocolate.

An edible chocolate hotel room? Holy cow! Can you imagine?! This post has made me hungry...very hungry! :-)
Yum! Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Just what a recovering chocoholic had to see. Just kidding that is an addiction I don’t want to get rid of.
I am off to find good chocolate now and just munch away.
Great Post! Loved your blog.
