Would you want to sleep in this woodland-themed bedroom??
The skull above the bed kinda freaks me out.
The bed is made in Finland. You can buy it from Etsy for a mere $9,600 US. Plus a few thousand more dollars for shipping…

I can't help it, but dust (on the trees) comes to mind!
Umm, I think I'll pass on that. I love Maya's comment about the dust! What a pain in the neck those trees would be to dust! And, I could see my husband tossing his clothes on the branches. No, not for me!
Kelly,
It's a fantasy bed and for set design or theater it's perfect. Dreaming through sleep is where our fantasy life resides. Now picture this bed outside and I bet you could take a afternoon nap on it. There, isn't that visual better?

The bed reminds me of something from the set of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe!
This is really nifty to look at, but living with it is probably another story. My husband must be related to Gayle's, because I assure you that is where his clothes would end up! And 9,600 plus shipping??? I could buy a wooded lot for that lol. Kathy
Um, thanks but no thanks. :) I think I would have jungle nightmares. It's not very simple and soothing the way I like my bedroom to be. Cool idea though maybe for a kid's room or something.
I'm laughing at the comments we're receiving!! Jungle nightmares, clothes hanging in the trees, wooded lots for less then the cost of this bed... perfect!! The whole thing is too over-the-top for me... and the worst is the skull over the head of the bed!! Can you imagine waking up to that staring down at you!! No thanks!!

Gayle and Kathy - my husband is definitely related to yours. He's unaware of the practical everyday use for a clothes hanger. Hooks are all he sees - clothes are hung on anything that resembles a hook - a drawer pull, the edge of the door, the corner on the chair back, the newel post at the end of the staircase, etc, etc, etc... It has taken me 30 years to turn a blind eye (pick your battles I keep telling myself) :)!
And don't get me started on the dust factor - YIKES!!!
Cool bed though...just in someone elses house!
The bed is too weird and the skull freaks me out too. But the worst part about the room (IMHO) are those feather boas leading up to the bed on the floor. WT? So strange.
I'm in agreement about the skull! Yikes! And what's that what claw shaped thing on the floor coming out from underneath the bed?
That's definitely a statement! The first thing that came to my mind was: movie set. But I think it could also work in a theme hotel (e.g. Walt Disney type) or a kid's bedroom, with a different color... maybe minus the skull, but then again some teens would love it. But it's definitely not for me.

It's interesting reading everyone's thoughts on this room.
It's definitely not my style, but there are some things about it that I like -- the two chandeliers in the corner, and the wallpapered panels wall behind the bed. Although I definitely wouldn't match the wallpaper to the bedding.
Thanks for the comments :-)
Kelly
The tree bed looks like a piece you would put in a child's room and I agree with you about the skull being pretty scary above the bed.
It's interesting to say the least. The colors are harmonious though...so I would say, yes, I would. But the crickets would keep me awake:)
It's a bit creepy...in my opinion.
