Fabrics for my “virtual” chairs

Kelly @ JAX Decor & Design

Still waiting to hear back from the lady selling the circle-back chairs… great to hear that everyone who commented agrees that these chairs are worth rescuing and reviving :-)

So now I’m looking at fabrics for recovering the seats on my virtual chairs (I can’t call them mine yet!!)

Ivan at Meade Design Group suggested Barbara Barry’s Signature fabric in Platinum:

BB Signature Platinum

Ivan also mentioned another beautiful Barbara Barry fabric a little while back in his comment on my Hooked on Circles post. It’s Circlet in Glacier:

BB Circlet Galcier

I love them both :-) But never one to make my life easy by limiting my choices, I had to do some more fabric exploring at Designer Fabrics in Toronto. And I came up with these:

DF Zibo
DF Uptown
DF Pom Pom
Pom Pom
DF Rondo
DF Jamaica
DF Emy

I’d love to hear what you think about these fabrics. And if you have any other suggestions for me, please let me know!! :-)

Wow Kelly, all the fabrics look just wonderful. You always seem to have such a sense of how to mix colors and designs. I can hardly wait to see which one you pick. Hugs, Marty

Gorgeous choices here; I would check on stock before getting too attached, as many fabric houses are still having stocking issues.

Ivan has great taste...and is equally as charming!

Don't forget to share some pics with us of the finished product :)

Great Fabrics. I particularly like the Uptown.

i agree with Patricia Uptown would look good. Jamaica would be nice too depending on the final color of the wood.

My favorite fabric is the PomPom design! Love the chair(s), yes, worth rescuing! ;)

I'm loving the second Barbara Berry fabric - Circlet in Glacier... fab! I also "third" Patricia's choice, Uptown.

I like the uptown as well. I'm not sure if I would do a circle fabric with the circle chairs. . . could work though. Anything works if it's done right.

Loving "Uptown"!

Thanks for everyone's fabric feedback :-)

I'm still waiting to see the chairs in person... hopefully that'll happen next Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope they look promising in real life!!

Hi! Guys,

I just found this entry - Thank you very much for the mention.

Happy Easter!

I was looking at your circle fabric post. I love your choices! Gorgeous fabric will always get you in trouble, because when you see it, you gotta have it, then you have to find a way to use it (another expence). UGH! It never ends.
I am a fabric freak. I have a room full of it, and always buying more. I'm going to check out some of your source links.
Thanks Kelly/Kiakai :)
