Our Catahoula Jackson is two years old today :-) Well, more or less — he came from a shelter, so we’re not sure of his exact age. But we picked May 31st as his birthday, so here we are :-)
He’ll be celebrating tonight with a trip to the dog park and two Big Macs or Whoppers — one for each year :-)
Happy Birthday to everyone else — with two legs or four — celebrating today!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jackson! Shan't tell our dogs that he gets McDonalds as ours only get a meager cupcake with a rendition of Happy Birthday, on their special day.
Awww..so cute!! Nice that you got him from a shelter :) Love the eyes! Looks like he is one of those big dogs that thinks he's a small dog :)
Is it just my computer or does your page take a while to load?
Hope you are both enjoying the great weather!

Happy Birthday to Jackson! Look at those eyes - no wonder he gets McDonalds. Now Kelly, you know I work for a vet, but I won't give you the lecture on his birthday. But I will be back next week to tell you all the reasons he really shouldn't have McDonalds! Kathy
aww look at Jacksons sweet little doggy eyes. Happy Birthday Jackson!!!! enjoy your mac and whopper and your visit to the dog park.
hugs

You are too cute - trip to Macdonalds, lucky Dog!
Oh junk food is so bad for pets...even on a birthday...a raw bone with a hunk of steak or a huge marrow bone is much better.
Happy Birthday (belated) to Jackson!
I'm sure junk food is as bad for dogs as it is for humans!! But I figure it's OK for a once-a year-treat. Our husky has had a burger for her birthday every year since she was 2, and she just turned 15. So we must be doing something right :-)
Jackson says that you for the birthday wishes :-)
Kelly
Kelly, our first dog lived to be seventeen. Her treat of an 'annual' cupcake didn't seem to affect her either. My dtrs. Chocolate Lab will be thirteen this year, and I hate to think what she has eaten throughout the course of her life. She has always been notorious to eat anything and I mean anything in sight which has been far worse than ANY McDonalds Burger. :)
Happy birthday to Jackson -- lucky guy. Be sure he doesn't get any of the onions but lucky guy!! You've reminded me to get back to my canine blog and do a nutrition post :) He's quite a nice looking boy ... hope to see more of Jackson :)
Wow! Are Jackson's eyes really green? If so, is that typical of Catahoula dogs?
I'm afraid I'll get lost looking for your answer, so if you wouldn't mind emailing me ATverizonDOTnet, I'd be very grateful.
Happy Birthday, Pretty Boy!
