Asian-inspired bathroom project: Update #1

A little while back, I posted about my friend who wants an Asian-inspired bathroom. We’ve both been looking for glass tiles for the backsplash and a square white sink, with varying degrees of luck. And she’s been scouting around town for a place that can make a custom floating vanity for her at a reasonable price. She found the place, and yesterday I happened to come across a vanity that she loves:

I’m so totally into the glass countertop, and I think it would be perfect for her bathroom. She’s single and doesn’t have any kids, so keeping the glass clean should be easy enough.

The bathroom demo will be happening in about a month, so it won’t be too long before I can show you some before & after pics.

Love the glass and that the vanity floats too!

Very pretty - but I just LOVE the wood grains in that vanity even more than the glass top!

That's beautiful! Aren't those bowl sinks a bit impractical though? No counter space. . . but that would be an excellent incentive to keep it pristine! Can't wait to see the after photos!

Love the idea of a floating sink like that-the picture about is beautiful as well. I think a big problem we have that a floating sink like that eliminates is getting water all over the floor and it gets to the wood cabinet in the sink (No idea how my fiance manages to SOAK the whole bathroom in the morning!) haha :) Jen @ P4D
