What I don’t want for Christmas

A hippopotamus. Seriously, if I hear that song one more time, I very possibly will explode.

And just so I don’t suffer hippopotamus overload alone…

Gayla Peevey is the singer. She was 10 years old at the time, and guess what – she actually DID get a hippopotamus for Christmas!! She donated it to the zoo in Oklahoma City. Because really, where would you keep a hippo??

    Donna, I've been singing it for weeks!! I went to bed last night singing it, and I woke up singing it... it won't leave me alone!! Cripes, there, now I have it in my head AGAIN!!

    She really got a hippo? That's hysterical. I'll tell you another few things I don't want: My Two Front Teeth; to See Mommy Kissing Santa Claus; and I REALLY don't want to see Grandma get run over by a reindeer! Geez, where oh where is Nat King Cole when you need him??? Kathy

    My daughter just walked in and asked, "Who is singing with that weird voice?" She loved the hippo slideshow, though. :-)

    oh my gosh- WORST xmas song EVER- except "It's Christmas EVe in Washington"... if you haven't heard that one omg you have to.... it's just so bad too..
