Flip flops have really come a long way. Shopping in all kinds of stores and the array of flip flops is endless.
This can only mean one thing... IT'S FLIP FLOP SEASON AGAIN....SUMMER!

Those are adorable, Alas I've just been told I shouldn't wear flip flops because I need arch support as my knees have started hurting. Hmmm. . . does this mean I'm over 40 (ouch)!

I used to wear flip flops all the time when I was a kid in Calif....I also need arch support but love them around the house... Fay

I LOVE flipflops! I wear them all spring, summer and fall. I am so entering this contest.

And thank you sooo much for the support for my giveaway and my training for my sprint triathlon. I biked 47 minutes in the rain this morning. UGH!

Kelly - so glad to hear you biked this weekend and you felt better afterward - rock on!!! And yeah - so glad you liked the chicken marbella. I'm making it again soon!!!

I LOVE flip flops. We used to call them thongs, but that's taken on a new meaning!

They're so easy to buy (don't really even have to try them on) Sometimes I think they re-produce in my closet!!

What a cool mat! I am definitely entering - would make a great gift for either of my daughters. Can you imagine having that mat at your door in the middle of the winter? It would certainly give you a little glimpse of what is to come.

Thanks for your comments on our busy weekend. I'm definitely going to need to soak in that hot tub after finishing my fine list of projects. Next Tuesday is delivery day - so I'll post more pics after that.

The grapes were actually here when we moved in '05. They are approximately 30 years old and provide amazing shade over part of our large patio. It's about a 10-15 degree difference at mid day - thank goodness we have them! We don't use the grapes for anything actually - buying a bottle of wine is far simpler :). We had someone pick them two years ago and they took over 200 lbs. The wine they made was a mixture of grapes so hard to tell if ours would make a good bottle on their own.

We have one of those lovely maples in our front yard (thanks to the City) and I absolutely love the shade, but hate the gazillion mini maples I have to pick out of our lawn and driveway every spring -- I'm right there with you ARRGGGHHH!!!

Have a great week!
